Temporary Site Manager
Location: Oldham

Duration: Initially 2 weeks, with the possibility of a longer-term assignment
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to provide temporary cover at a school in Oldham from September.
The initial requirement is for 2 weeks, although there is potential for the position to continue for longer depending on the school's requirements.
The Role
The successful Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school premises, ensuring the site is secure, well maintained and operating safely.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the school site each day.
- Ensuring the premises are secure and ready for staff and pupils.
- Organising and overseeing compliance-related work.
- Keeping accurate records of compliance work and ensuring documentation is kept up to date.
- Supporting the general day-to-day management of the school site.
- Identifying and dealing with any site or maintenance issues as required.
- Ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure and well presented.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Site Manager, Premises Manager, Facilities or similar role, ideally within an education environment.
You will need to be reliable, organised and confident working independently, with the ability to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site.
Strong organisational skills are particularly important, as you will be responsible for coordinating and recording compliance work.
Key Requirements

- Confident managing a school site independently.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Reliable and able to start in September.
- Experience with compliance-related duties would be beneficial.
- Able to open and close the school premises.
