Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced factory environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with factory experience, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on skills in assembly and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively within a team to ensure smooth production processes. Prior experience with warehouse operations, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation is highly desirable. This position is essential for maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards and supporting efficient factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment on the assembly line to ensure consistent production flow
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Support the setup and changeover of production lines to accommodate different product runs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly line processes are highly advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment use
