Caval are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering client based in Leyland, who are looking to add an experienced Auto Electrician to their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a secure business working on new build HGVs and LCVs, carrying out electrical installations and vehicle build work to a high standard.
The Role:
- Electrical installation work on new build HGVs and LCVs
- Wiring looms, lighting systems, control panels and auxiliary equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Reading and working from technical drawings/schematics
- Testing completed work to ensure quality and compliance
- Working closely with production and engineering teams
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as an Auto Electrician / Vehicle Electrician
- Level 3 qualification preferred in Auto Electrical / Vehicle Maintenance / Engineering
- Experience working on commercial vehicles, vans, HGVs or specialist vehicles
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
