Sous Chef – Join Our Friendly Village Gastro Pub
We're looking for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our small, friendly village gastro pub. If you love cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and take pride in producing high-quality food, we'd love to hear from you.
Working closely alongside our Head Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to create and deliver consistently exceptional dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.

What you'll be doing:
- Working alongside the Head Chef to prepare and serve fresh, seasonal dishes.
- Helping to maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Assisting with menu development and daily specials.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Helping with stock control, ordering and reducing waste.
- Leading the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
- A genuine passion for fresh, locally sourced food.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability, creativity and attention to detail.
- Pride in producing consistently outstanding food.

Pay: £25,420.00-£42,044.84 per year
