Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE including opportunity to earn £5,000 per annum in bonus!
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm plus overtime option
We are looking for Vehicle Technicians to inspect, diagnose, repair, service and maintain vehicles to a good quality standard as specified by the manufacturers or warranty requirements at our Preparation & Service Centre!
A good knowledge and capability with diagnostics and vehicle electrical systems will be a distinct advantage.
Areas of Responsibility:-
- To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service on a variety of prestigious vehicles.
- To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process.
- To use the company system to request parts for vehicles.
- To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment.
- To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with the Supervisor.
- To monitor work progress, and pursue a resolution for any issues as necessary.
- To advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with the Service Manager.
- To ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are met.
- To inform the Supervisor on non-conforming vehicles or issues arising.
- To communicate with internal teams and departments where necessary.
- To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties.
