About Us
LDM Properties (UK) Limited is a leading residential lettings and property management company specialising in high-quality apartments across central London.
We work with an international landlord and tenant base, providing a full range of lettings, tenancy management and property management services.
Our Directors are based in High Wycombe, and we are now looking to strengthen our management capability by building a dedicated operations function locally to support the management of our core London residential portfolio.
Location: High Wycombe
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime may be available during peak periods.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and resilient Lettings Manager to join our High Wycombe team and support the Directors in managing LDM’s core residential portfolio across central London.
This is a highly client-facing and fast-paced role. The successful candidate will regularly communicate with both international landlords and tenants, manage urgent and sometimes sensitive situations, and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, calm under pressure and, most importantly, someone who focuses on solving problems rather than simply passing them on.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a portfolio of properties throughout the full tenancy lifecycle, from agreed offer and move-in through to renewal, check-out and deposit resolution.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with landlords and tenants, including an international client base, and manage expectations effectively.
- Manage tenancy renewals, negotiate rental terms and conclude renewal agreements.
- Coordinate new tenancy progression, including referencing, tenancy documentation, deposits and move-in arrangements.
- Handle deposit registrations, returns and disputes through the DPS.
- Coordinate inventories, check-outs and mid-term inspections.
- Manage maintenance issues from initial report through to resolution, liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors and dealing with urgent matters where required.
- Monitor rent payments, manage rent chasing and assist with arrears resolution.
- Manage property-related financial administration where required, including utility bills, void-period charges, service charges and ground rents.
- Assist with the preparation and service of relevant legal notices, including Section 8 notices.
- Ensure all tenancies are managed in accordance with UK lettings legislation, compliance requirements and internal company procedures.
- Monitor outstanding tasks, landlord requests, tenant issues and operational matters, ensuring that issues are followed through to completion rather than unnecessarily escalated.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential lettings or property management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to communicate with international landlords and tenants.
- Proactive, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of issues.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple urgent priorities.
- Strong understanding of UK residential lettings legislation and compliance.
- Experience managing tenancies from start to finish.
Experience managing central London residential property would be highly advantageous.
