Pharmacy Dispenser – Part-Time
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive team player looking to make a real difference in patient care? We are seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly, GP practice in Sutterton Lincolnshire.
About the Role:
As a key member of our dispensary team, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions, assisting patients, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary.
What You’ll Do:
- Process prescriptions and prepare medications
- Assist patients with queries, prescription requests/medication collections
- Manage stock orders, deliveries, and medication storage
- Ensure compliance with dispensary policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- if you are an experienced dispenser looking for an exciting new role, then we'd love to hear from you. You will have the following skills and experience:
- At least a Diploma Level 2 Dispensary or equivalent pharmacy services qualification.
- Previous dispensary and pharmacy experience, ideally in primary care.
- Strong attention to detail & IT proficiency
- Excellent clinical and medication knowledge.
- Confidence to work as part of a busy GP multi-disciplinary practice team and using your own initiative in decision making.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
- Excellent patient facing inter-personal communication skills.
- Sensitive and empathetic.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work well in a team.
