We are looking for a motivated and professional Implant Dental Nurse to join our growing team at The Smiles Studio in Chandlers Ford.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely alongside our implant clinician, Dr Mahesh Nagpal within a modern, well-equipped mixed NHS and private practice. Full implant training will be provided, and you will work alongside our current experienced Implant Dental Nurse as part of your development.

The Role
You will play a key role in supporting implant and advanced dental procedures while ensuring surgeries run smoothly and efficiently.
This role will involve working closely with Dr Mahesh Nagpal, assisting with implant clinics, surgical procedures and clinical preparation. You will also work alongside our current Implant Dental Nurse as part of your ongoing training and development.
Please note this role is primarily based in Chandlers Ford, however the successful candidate will also be required to work in our Lymington practice on Tuesdays to support Dr Mahesh Nagpal’s implant clinic.
Training and ongoing support will be provided throughout.
Responsibilities
- Chairside support during implant and advanced restorative procedures
- Assisting with surgical setups and implant workflows
- Preparing and maintaining clinical rooms to a high standard
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Liaising with laboratories and referral practices
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and patient confidentiality
- Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team where needed
- Ensuring compliance with CQC and cross infection standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Confident using computers and practice software
Previous dental nursing experience is preferred. Implant experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
GDC registration is required for qualified nurses.
A DBS check and references will be required upon commencement.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:15am – 5:30pm
1 hour lunch break (1:00pm – 2:00pm)
