We are exploring the possibility of expanding our Multi Skills and Trades provision for the 2026/27 academic year and are interested in hearing from individuals who may be open to future teaching opportunities.
At this stage, we are gathering expressions of interest only and are not recruiting for specific roles.
However, we would be keen to connect with professionals who have:
- Industry experience within construction and the trades, including areas such as Multi Skills, Carpentry, Brickwork, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering vocational training, apprenticeships, or industry-recognised qualifications.
- A passion for developing the next generation of construction and trade professionals.
- If you are considering a new opportunity in education, whether you are an experienced teacher, assessor, or an industry professional interested in transitioning into teaching, we would welcome an initial conversation.
This exciting opportunity could include:
- Delivering practical, engaging lessons to a variety of learners.
- Joining a specialist teaching team and contributing to a range of trade and construction programmes.
- Supporting students through tutorial and pastoral activities.
- Delivering vocational and technical qualifications across Multi Skills and Trades programmes.
- Helping learners develop the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for successful careers in the construction industry.

- Recent industry experience.
- Relevant industry qualifications.
- Assessor/IQA Qualification (Desirable)
- For many of our teaching roles, we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their career, including industry professionals with no/limited teaching experience. We are able to offer teacher development & qualifications to enable teaching success.

Annual salary: Circa £30,000 - £42,000 FTE
