We are recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and child-focused Studio Staff to support the delivery of fun and safe children’s play sessions at our partner Ladies Only Gyms.
This role operates on a rota basis, with team members working as either a Studio Lead or Activity Lead depending on the needs of the session.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a growth phase as new partner venues launch. Start dates will be confirmed as venues open and sessions commence.
Studio Lead Responsibilities
Register & Attendance
- Complete sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Maintain accurate headcounts and staff-to-child ratios at all times
Safeguarding Lead
- Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns
- Manage incidents, accidents, and escalations appropriately
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and policies are followed
Parent Communication
- Welcome parents and children to sessions
- Provide end-of-session handovers
- Handle parent queries, concerns, and issues professionally
Session Management
- Oversee session flow and timings
- Coordinate arrivals, transitions, tidy-up, and collections
- Delegate tasks clearly to Activity Leads
Admin & Compliance
- Complete incident and accident forms
- Manage medication records where applicable
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
Final Accountability
- Hold overall responsibility for the safe and compliant running of sessions
Activity Lead Responsibilities
Child Supervision
- Engage positively with children throughout sessions
- Maintain a safe and inclusive play environment
- Support behaviour management where required
Activity Delivery
- Set up and lead activities including games, crafts, and play sessions
- Adapt activities to suit children’s needs and engagement levels
- Encourage participation and inclusion
Environment Management
- Assist with setup and pack-down of equipment, including pop-up assembly/disassembly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment throughout sessions
Session Support
- Support transitions including arrivals, snack times, tidy-up, and collection
- Assist the Studio Lead during busy or high-pressure periods
Observations & Communication
- Observe children’s wellbeing and behaviour
- Report any concerns promptly to the Studio Lead
Essential Requirements
- Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List check (registered with the DBS Update Service where possible)
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Safeguarding Children training
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Additional Information
This role is offered on a zero-hours basis initially while we continue expanding our partner venue network and session availability. Successful candidates will be among the first team members allocated shifts as venues launch and workloads increase.
We are actively onboarding new venues, so flexibility and availability will be highly valued during this growth period.
