Main Responsibilities
- Interpret site surveys and drawings
- Viewing and interpreting site photos
- Creation of designs from concept sketch to CAD
- Create accompanying information to support the design explanation
- Understanding the principles of what is to be achieved and what is shown on the drawings can be built
- Compliance with CDM regulations
- Liaise with the commercial team on design issues and changes
Ideal Candidate
- HNC / Degree within a suitable Engineering discipline or working towards
- 2 years experience within a construction design related role
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Produced structural element load calculations
- Good visualisation skills with a creative approach to work, finding design solutions
- Meet deadlines
- Attention to detail to deliver high levels of accuracy and quality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Full UK driving licence
