What you'll be doing
As Deputy Home Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to lead a happy, safe and thriving home.
You'll:
- Lead, coach and inspire the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
- Ensure the home continues to meet high standards through audits, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Champion safeguarding, dignity and wellbeing for every resident.
- Support with staffing, rotas, admissions and occupancy.
- Drive continuous improvement and help create a positive, engaging culture where colleagues and residents flourish.
- Deputise for the Home Manager when required.
- This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and every day gives you the chance to positively impact the lives of older people.
About you
You'll already have:
- Experience leading teams within a residential, nursing or dementia care setting.
- A strong understanding of the needs of older people.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards and quality assurance.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer-focused care.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable, or you'll already be working towards achieving it.

Hurst Park Court in Huyton is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 41 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
