We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Third in Charge to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily nursery operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging environment for children
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development
- Supervise and guide nursery staff, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and adherence to best practices in childcare
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns
- Ensure compliance with early childhood education regulations and nursery policies
- Support staff training initiatives and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications are highly desirable

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
