Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Self Employed Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our practices, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous janitorial experience and expertise in commercial cleaning are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and furniture
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety and CQC protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work during designated hours, including early mornings or evenings if required (6 hours per day covering 3 sites).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
