Job Overview.
As a community Care Worker at Village Homecare Kindness and time will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Every single person who works here understands that our Clients are like family and each one of them have a story to tell.
The areas we cover is Coalville, Ibstock, Ellistown, Nailstone, Market Bosworth, Desford, Newbold Verdon, Thornton
Duties.
- Deliver personalised care to Clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist clients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and record keeping procedures
- Foster a warm, respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity for residents
- Maintain accurate documentation related to clients’ health, wellbeing, and activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Assist with organising activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home setting
Skills
- Strong communication skills for liaising with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of care plans, medication administration, and relevant regulatory standards
- Driving licence is desirable for supporting residents' outings or appointments
- Compassionate nature combined with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
