About the Role
Grupo JBF Business Consulting is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join our team in London. You will examine existing business processes, identify operational inefficiencies, and develop practical recommendations that help our clients improve productivity, service quality, cost control, and customer experience.
This role is suitable for an analytical professional who can understand complex workflows, gather requirements from different stakeholders, and translate business challenges into structured improvement plans. You will work with consultants, project teams, operational managers, technology specialists, and client representatives across a range of business-transformation assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing business processes, workflows, systems, and operating procedures.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with employees, managers, and client stakeholders.
- Document current processes using process maps, flowcharts, and written procedures.
- Identify delays, duplicated activities, control weaknesses, and unnecessary manual work.
- Gather and document functional and operational business requirements.
- Develop future-state process designs that improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Evaluate the potential impact, cost, risk, and benefit of proposed changes.
- Prepare business cases and recommendations for process-improvement initiatives.
- Work with technology teams to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Support automation, digital-transformation, and workflow-improvement projects.
- Define key performance indicators for measuring process effectiveness.
- Analyse operational data and prepare reports on productivity, quality, cost, and performance.
- Coordinate process testing and user-acceptance testing for new systems or workflows.
- Track project actions, risks, issues, decisions, and implementation milestones.
- Support change-management and employee-communication activities.
- Develop standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor implemented changes and confirm whether expected benefits have been achieved.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, management consulting, or a related position.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Ability to produce process maps, workflow diagrams, and clear operating procedures.
- Good understanding of process-improvement and business-transformation principles.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and structured problem-solving skills.
- Experience analysing operational data and performance indicators.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, interviews, and requirements workshops.
- Strong written documentation and report-writing skills.
- Confidence presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several workstreams and competing deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- A degree or professional qualification in business management, economics, information systems, operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or another reporting platform.
- Familiarity with business-process modelling notation.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting digital-transformation or system-implementation projects.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management or enterprise resource-planning systems.
- Experience conducting cost-benefit and operational-impact assessments.
- Knowledge of robotic process automation and workflow-automation tools.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar project tools.
- Business Analysis certification from BCS, IIBA, or another recognised organisation.
- Experience working in consulting, financial services, professional services, or technology.
- Understanding of organisational change and stakeholder-engagement practices.
Mindset
You are analytical, curious, and comfortable questioning established ways of working. You do not recommend changes based on assumptions alone; you collect evidence, consult the people involved, and consider the wider operational impact before proposing a solution.
You communicate clearly, remain objective when stakeholders have different priorities, and take responsibility for producing accurate and practical recommendations. You understand that successful process improvement requires cooperation, measurable outcomes, and careful implementation rather than documentation alone.
