Your role
You'll work within a specialist care home that supports adults with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex needs.
Using your experience and knowledge, you'll help deliver safe, consistent, and compassionate care while promoting each person's dignity, wellbeing, and independence.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care
- Supporting daily living activities
- Helping individuals follow their routines safely
- Delivering one-to-one support
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Supporting colleagues to maintain high standards of care
- Working both independently and as part of a wider care team
You'll be a visible and reliable presence throughout each shift, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for the people in your care.

There may be occasions when you'll work independently, delivering safe, effective care in situations where individuals may display behaviours that challenge.
Before you start, you'll complete online training alongside a one-day, face-to-face practical session, giving you the knowledge and confidence to understand the care approaches, techniques, and safety procedures used within the service.
Flexible shift patterns
Regular shifts include:
- 8:00am-8:00pm
- 8:00pm-8:00am
Flexible working patterns are available, allowing you to choose shifts that fit around your lifestyle.
What you'll need
To apply, you'll need:
- At least six months of experience in a paid UK care role
- Experience supporting adults with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex needs (or transferable experience from a similar care setting)
- Previous senior care experience or the confidence and ability to take on additional responsibilities within a care team
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A caring, patient, and professional approach
- The right to work in the UK
- SSSC registration (or a willingness to apply)
- PVG membership (or a willingness to apply)
- A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
