We are currently seeking hard-working and dedicated chefs to join our kitchen team. The purpose of this role will be to work alongside the existing kitchen team in the preparation and delivery of food within the hotel restaurant, ensuring exceptional standards are always met and the customer expectations and exceeded.
Main duties of this role will include –
· Maintaining high levels of standards in personal hygiene, uniform and general appearance
· Work with the kitchen team as a strong team and work on your own on set sections and objectives
· Complying with high standards of safety and hygiene procedures ensuring compliance with HACCAP
· Ensuring all sections of the kitchen are kept clean, organized and in accordance with management requirements
· To assist in the development of other kitchen staff ensuring you are always supporting one another
· To work in and provide support in any area of the kitchen
· Ensuring all maintenance, employee or other issues are reported to line or duty manager
· Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for various menus within the complex
· Creating new recipes for specials in conjunction with the head chef
· Following budgets and quantity/ quality checks set by management
· Always ensuring the highest standard and quality of all dishes for our customers
· Showcase a wide knowledge of different varieties of food, ingredients and dishes
· Show the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
· Strong communication skills
· Other duties as communicated by head chef and hotel management
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
