Summary
Seeking a Baker to join our team in King's Lynn. Looking for someone with experience & passion for food. Role will include baking fairly high volumes but also testing new recipes and coming up with new products. Sociable hours & small friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Make a variety of simple baked goods following established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food production meets safety and quality regulations.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen organization to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen and ingredient storage environments.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing products.
- Support inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or culinary roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous
- Good communication skills and team spirit
Pay and working days
- Pay dependant on experience 12.71-13.71£/hr
- 4-5days/week seasonally. Very rarely may need to work a weekend day but mainly M-F
- Start time flexible but ideally early between 6-8am. Finish time variable.
- Extra shifts & hours expected during busy periods
