St Ives Town Football Club currently has a vacancy for a volunteer Kit Assistant to join the backroom team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The club is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who will have responsibility for preparing and washing the first team kit before and after each game during the season.
This role will be key to matchday operations. Therefore, the successful candidate should be a reliable team player with availability at weekends.
Key Responsibilities.
- To supervise the washing and drying of the first team kit after a Saturday game using the laundry facilities at the ground. For home games, the kit will be available after 5pm. For away games, the kit will be available from Sunday morning.
- To supervise the washing and drying of the first team kit after a midweek game using the laundry facilities at the ground. For home games, this will be on a Tuesday morning after a Monday evening game. For away games, this will be on a Wednesday morning after a Tuesday evening match.
- In all the above cases, it will be the responsibility of the role holder to ensure that the kit is washed, dried and made available to use for the first team in time for the next fixture.
