Lithographic Printer
About the Role
Due to continued business growth and our relocation to a new site, we are looking for an experienced, quality-focused Lithographic Printer to join our production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for operating our Heidelberg B2 5-colour SX press, ensuring every job meets the highest quality standards while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding results with a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Heidelberg B2 5-colour SX74 printing press with coater.
- Produce work to the highest quality standards while achieving optimum machine performance.
- Carry out all required quality control checks throughout production.
- Follow established production procedures and company processes.
- Meet production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure the press is maintained in line with company schedules and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support other production departments when press workload allows.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience operating Heidelberg B2/B1 presses or similar lithographic printing equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve press-related issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality work.
- A flexible, positive approach with the ability to adapt to changing production demands.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative, and plan workloads effectively.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Late shift, Monday to Friday:
- Hours: 2pm – 10:00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 5pm on Friday
- Flexibility and overtime required.
