Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Senior Principal Programmer (Statistical Computing Environment Business Coordinator) who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and compliance-minded to join our Programming, Visualization and Reporting team, based in any of our Brussels (Belgium), Monheim (Germany), Raleigh (USA), or Slough (UK) offices.
About the role
You will help clinical programming teams move to and work confidently within UCB’s modern Statistical Computing Environment. You will translate clinical reporting needs into well-governed study setups, support compliant platform operations, and help improve the way teams generate, validate, and deliver clinical trial analysis and reporting outputs.
Who you’ll work with
You will work with the Programming, Visualization and Reporting team, statistical programming teams, platform administrators, Biometrics partners, and business stakeholders. You will connect technical and business needs, support users through onboarding and daily operations, and help teams follow consistent, compliant, and practical ways of working.
What you’ll do
You will review and coordinate clinical trial analysis and reporting setup requests, making sure they are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
You will configure study structures, repositories, datasets, reporting components, and access in line with CDISC and governance requirements.
You will manage role-based access, study configurations, and Git/Azure DevOps resources using approved requests and compliant processes.
You will coordinate environment provisioning with platform administrators so study teams can begin work in a ready and reliable environment.
You will support programming teams during onboarding, transition from legacy systems, and ongoing operations as a first-line technical contact.
You will improve lifecycle management and workflows by documenting processes, supporting validation activities, and automating practical solutions that enhance quality and user experience.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
You bring 5+ years of experience in clinical trial results generation, reporting, and submission processes.
You have experience supporting Statistical Computing Environments, including process flows, user access, and Biometrics requirements.
You understand CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM, and have worked with Tables, Figures, and Listings.
You have worked in regulated pharmaceutical environments and understand SDLC, validation, audit readiness, and compliant configuration expectations.
You can communicate clearly with technical teams and business stakeholders, while tracking setup processes across systems and teams.
You bring practical experience with tools such as Domino Data Lab, SAS, R, Git, Azure DevOps, VS Code, or SAS Studio.
