Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our vibrant care team. Duties
- Assist the Service Manager in coordinating daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Supervise and support care staff, promoting best practices in both supported living and a variety of other care environments
- Contribute to the development and review of personalized care plans tailored to each of our service users needs
- Oversee medication administration procedures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Support staff training initiatives focused on Medication training, Autism, Complex Needs and home care techniques
- Monitor quality standards and ensure adherence to health and safety policies across all departments
- Lead by example in delivering compassionate, person-centered care that enhances well-being and dignity
Skills
- Demonstrated management and supervising experience within a care setting
- Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, families, and external professionals
- Compassionate approach to Autism care related challenges with a focus on person-centered solutions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
