Required from September 2026, the Governors of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our happy and hardworking team. The role is initially a one year fixed term contract with an extension possible. The succesful candidate will be reuqoired to work 15.5 hours per week, 08:30 to 12:00 Wednesday, 08:30 - 15:30 Thursday & Friday.
We are looking for someone who:

Will fully support the Catholic ethos of our school.

Has a nurturing, enthusiastic manner with good communication skills

Is very positive and has a desire to succeed with children

Preferably has experience supporting children with SEND

Is calm and demonstrates good behaviour control

Works well as a team and is flexible

Is qualified to at least Level 2 or equivalent

Feels confident in their own Maths / English skills appropriate to demands of all key stages
-
Shows initiative whilst also being able to work under the direction of the classteacher

Engage in aspects of wider school life

Has a good sense of humour!
