At Abri, we believe that every customer interaction matters.
When repairs don't go quite to plan, customers want someone who will listen, take ownership, and work hard to put things right. That's where this role comes in.
We're looking for a Repairs Support Officer to join our friendly team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, investigating issues, and working with others to find the best possible outcome for our customers.
You'll be the person who looks beyond the initial issue, bringing together information from different teams, understanding what has happened, and helping customers get the answers and support they need. Whether you're responding to a repair query, resolving a concern, or identifying opportunities for us to improve, you'll play an important part in helping us deliver a great service.
What makes this role special is the variety. One moment you could be speaking with operational teams to understand a repair journey, the next you'll be updating a customer, providing reassurance, and finding a way forward. Every day offers a new challenge and a chance to make a real difference.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
-
Enjoy helping people and take pride in delivering great customer service.
-
Have strong communication skills and can build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
-
Like investigating issues and getting to the root of a problem.
-
Can stay organised and manage competing priorities.
-
Bring a positive, resilient approach and remain calm under pressure.
-
Are motivated by finding solutions and improving customer experiences.
Experience within housing, repairs, maintenance, or complaints handling would be helpful, but we're equally interested in people who are passionate about customers and can demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
What's in it for you?
At Abri, you'll be part of a supportive team where your ideas and contributions are valued. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and help us deliver services that genuinely improve people's lives.
Most importantly, you'll work for an organisation that's committed to creating thriving communities and putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a difference every day and be part of a team that cares, we'd love to hear from you.
We’ll review and interview suitable candidates as they apply. If we receive enough applications, we'll close the advert early so be sure to apply today so you don’t miss out!
