The successful candidate will initially be involved with supporting the service users with the move to the new care home. In addition, the successful candidate will also undertake the keyworker role, this will involve creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning as well as, ensuring the service user is being offered the opportunities, experience and the care and support within their care plan.
Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification SVQ 3, as required by the Scottish Social Services Council. Within the timeframes set at point of registration, once qualification achieved it is the person's responsibility to inform Scottish Social Services Council accordingly.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
