Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality and cleanliness. Prior experience in janitorial or hotel environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, communal areas, and service spaces in accordance with established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen stock
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks including deep cleans or specialised sanitisation processes
- Support the team with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- Basic cooking skills are considered a plus but are not essential
- Customer service skills to assist guests politely and professionally
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and workload demands
