About Harrod Outdoors
Harrod Outdoors is one of the UK's fastest-growing suppliers of premium trees, hedging and topiary. We source exceptional plants from some of Europe's leading nurseries while continuing to invest heavily in expanding our own UK production.
As demand continues to grow, we're expanding our production operations across multiple nursery sites, creating exciting opportunities for ambitious people who want to build a long-term career in horticulture.
Our ambition is clear, to become the UK's leading supplier and producer of horticultural plants and trees, combining large-scale UK production with one of Europe's strongest supply networks. We continually invest in new technology, equipment and more efficient systems to stay at the forefront of the industry while maintaining the quality and service we're known for.
We're proud of our close-knit team and positive working environment. Everyone plays an important role, ideas are encouraged, and hard work is recognised. If you're looking for somewhere you can genuinely progress rather than just have a job, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a varied outdoor role combining gardening, landscaping, nursery production and horticultural operations.
Some days you'll be working at one of our production nurseries preparing plants for customers, while on others you'll be travelling across the UK helping install premium hedging, trees and topiary for residential and commercial projects.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and wants to develop a broad range of horticultural skills.

- Assisting with and eventually leading commercial and residential planting projects.
- Loading and unloading plants, trees and landscaping materials.

- Working with modern machinery, equipment and horticultural systems.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture or outdoor manual work is beneficial but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working outdoors throughout the year.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and handling large plants.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confidence travelling throughout the UK to complete planting projects.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Career Opportunities
We're looking for people who want a career, not just a job.
As our production operations continue to expand across multiple nursery sites, there will be opportunities to progress into senior horticultural, production management and planting management roles.
You'll receive ongoing training in specialist horticultural techniques, modern production methods and large-scale planting operations while working alongside experienced members of our team.
You'll also have opportunities to attend industry events, work with innovative production systems and contribute ideas that help shape the future of the business.
