Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care and a thorough understanding of anatomy, with the ability to administer medications effectively. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health status, documenting changes and reporting to the medical team as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Experience
- A valid nursing qualification with current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Proven experience in medication administration and familiarity with various medical equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses who are eager to learn.
