This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing websites, maintaining accurate online content, and ensuring an excellent user experience.
As Website Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of company websites, updating content, monitoring performance, and supporting digital marketing activities alongside the Ecommerce & SEO Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in website administration using website content management systems (ideally Magento 2).
Key Responsibilities:
· Update and maintain website content, including text, images, documents, and product information on our Magento website.
· Ensure all website information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company branding.
· Monitor website functionality and resolve minor issues, liaising with E-commerce Manager when required.
· Optimise website content for SEO and support digital marketing campaigns.
· Upload blogs, news articles, and promotional content.
· Monitor website analytics and help produce regular performance reports.
· Test website updates and new features across desktop and mobile devices.
· Ensure compliance with GDPR, accessibility standards, and company policies.
· Product Photography and editing using Adobe Photoshop
· Product Video recording and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
· Graphic and Print creation using Adobe InDesign
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing and customer service, to ensure alignment and collaboration on website initiatives
· Content creation on the company’s social media channels, including LinkedIn
Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Previous experience administering websites or content management systems (CMS) preferably gained in a b2b environment or as part of a vocational qualification
· Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or similar CMS. Magento is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
· Knowledge of SEO best practices
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
· Experience working within an established marketing team, either for an agency or in-house
Desirable:
· Good understanding of web technologies, including HTML and CSS.
· Experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
· Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro and InDesign)
· Familiarity with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics GA4
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 basic pa
Hours: Either 7.30am – 4.00pm or 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
