We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in the Bristol area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician looking for a stable, long-term position with excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and ongoing development.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of HGVs, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and kept safe and roadworthy.
Your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections and safety checks
- Fault-finding and diagnostics
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Ensuring all work is completed to company and manufacturer standards
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Good fault-finding ability
- A reliable and professional approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
