Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic/Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diverse equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Assemble new machinery and components following detailed instructions and safety standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper safety protocols
- Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring all work meets quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients regarding repair status and maintenance needs
Requirements
- Proven experience with schematics, mechanical systems, and equipment repair processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and reading technical diagrams
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Prior experience in equipment repair or maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: £27,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
