Regional Portfolio | Commercial Property

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Regional Facilities Manager to take ownership of a diverse commercial property portfolio. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on-site, solving problems, and driving standards, not just managing from behind a desk.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings are safe, compliant, well-maintained and operating to a high standard, working closely with onsite teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, operational role where you’ll take responsibility for facilities issues across multiple sites, from identifying problems through to making sure they’re fully resolved.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of FM issues across your portfolio, assessing, prioritising and seeing them through to completion
- Act as the key escalation point for onsite teams and coordinate with contractors and technical specialists
- Carry out regular site visits, identifying risks, defects and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance, ensuring actions are closed out properly
- Manage contractors, challenging performance and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Control costs, reviewing quotes, managing spend and ensuring value for money
- Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems (Vantify or similar)
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders on progress, risks and key issues
About You:
We’re looking for someone who takes real ownership and pride in their work,someone who spots issues early and makes sure they get fixed.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience managing multiple commercial properties or sites (business space assets)
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and building compliance
- Good understanding of Hard FM / building services and contractor management
- Experience working with service charge budgets and cost control
- Confidence using CAFM systems
- IOSH (minimum), with NEBOSH or IWFM qualifications desirable
