Baker
Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team, producing high-quality bread, pastries, and desserts in our busy kitchen. You’ll work as part of a small team, helping maintain our standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.

Applicants must be UK residents and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the bakery. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes and measurements to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory and report low stock or equipment issues.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment (ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, etc.).
- Help with new recipe testing and product development.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and production-ready.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a professional bakery environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and timing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
Working Hours:
This role is based on four 10-hour shifts per week, with the earliest start time at 5:30 a.m.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
