We're looking for a Part-Time Retail Assistant who's ready to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a smile to our Preston (Bamber Bridge) store. Someone who loves great customer service, enjoys being part of a buzzing team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Working hours for this opportunity will be 20 hours per week, shift pattern to be discussed at interview, but will be over 5 days (including Sunday mornings).
So what can you expect to be doing in this retail assistant role?
- Working as part of a busy team, ensuring the best customer service is given to each customer
- Welcoming customers into the store, supporting them with their shopping experience if needed
- Providing excellent knowledge on products sold
- Helping customers with their checkout experience
- Involvement in regular stock replenishment
- Making sure the store looks inviting and tidy at all times
- Answering customer phone calls in a professional manner
- Supporting your colleagues where necessary
What experience are we looking for? We would ideally like you to have some experience in:
- A retail or wholesale environment
- Cash handling / till / checkout experience
- Having good organisational skills and a grasp of basic numeracy
For this retail assistant role we would also need you to have:
- The ability to communicate well at all levels.
- The drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- A friendly and approachable person who can build relationships with both customers and staff.
