We are looking for a friendly and experienced Barista / Café Assistant to join our team at our busy coffee shop. This is a part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in great customer service, and has a passion for coffee.
Hours
- Part-time
- Days are flexible and to be agreed, so some availability during the week
- Saturdays are a must or every other Saturday
Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and hot drinks
- Making fresh sandwiches and light food
- Providing excellent front-of-house customer service
- Taking orders and handling payments
- Keeping the café clean, organised, and welcoming
- Working efficiently during busy periods
Requirements
- Barista experience is essential
- Experience in food preparation (sandwiches/light café food) preferred
- Confident providing friendly customer service
- Must speak good English
- Reliable, positive, and able to work well in a team
- Flexible availability
