About the Role: We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Pick & Pack Specialist to join our team in Hampton TW12. In this role, you will be the backbone of our order fullfilment process, ensuring fragile replacement lamps, lighting and other photographic products are accurately picked, expertly packaged, and safely dispatched to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fullfillment: Accurately pick replacement lamps and lighting components from warehouse shelves based on daily pick lists and invoices.
Specialized Packing: Handle fragile glass bulbs and delicate fixtures with extreme care. Utilize custom padding, bubble wrap, and heavy-duty boxes to prevent breakage during transit.
Inventory Management: Assist with restocking shelves, conducting periodic inventory counts, and reporting any damaged or low-stock items.
Shipping Preparation: Seal and label packages correctly, ensuring all domestic/international shipping manifests are applied accurately.
Quality Control: Double-check every order against the packing slip to ensure the correct wattage, base type, and voltage are sent every time.
Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Previous warehouse, pick/pack, or stockroom experience is preferred but not required.
Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish between similar bulb types, serial numbers, and specifications.
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing/walking for periods and lifting approx. 23 kg / 50 lbs safely. Careful Handling: A proven track record of handling fragile merchandise or glassware with precision and care.
