The Regional Manager (RM) is a key role within our business and Operations Team, responsible for ensuring their Regional team delivers safe, compliant installation and maintenance of our clients' Life Protection Systems.
This role is based in Pontypool, Wales, but will have responsibility for covering the South West region. The successful candidate will therefore be required to travel frequently throughout the region, including regular travel to our office in Redruth, Cornwall. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, and a company car or car allowance is provided.
The RM is responsible for ensuring their branches perform against agreed KPIs, supporting operational activity, customer experience, financial performance and internal measures. The RM must develop and lead a motivated region that works towards achieving Company goals.

Responsibilities
- Managing, coaching and developing a team of engineers, setting clear goals and objectives, and ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, legislation and internal procedures, and that all servicing and installation work carried out within the region is completed correctly, competently and on time.
- Taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the region and encouraging a culture of success and continuous improvement.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times, resolving issues quickly and effectively to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Reviewing and analysing regional KPI and financial reports, identifying areas for improvement and motivating staff to exceed objectives.
- Supporting the development and performance of branch teams across the South West region.
- Building strong relationships with customers, engineers, colleagues and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring effective communication across the region and maintaining high standards of operational performance.
- Monitoring performance against company targets and implementing appropriate actions where required.
- Ensuring all relevant administration, reporting and systems are maintained accurately and effectively.
- Regularly travelling throughout the South West region and to the Redruth, Cornwall office as required.
