Qualified Electrician – Telecommunications
(AC & DC Power Projects)
Holland Electrical Contractors Ltd is a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Due to the award of a new contract within the telecommunications sector, we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our growing team. This role will involve working predominantly on telecommunications infrastructure projects, including both AC and DC power installations. Full industry-specific training will be provided where required.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians looking to develop their careers within a specialist and expanding sector.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out AC and DC electrical installations on telecommunications infrastructure.
· Install and commission telecommunications power systems and associated equipment.
· Carry out inspection, testing, commissioning and fault finding on AC and DC electrical systems.
· Complete first and second fix electrical works.
· Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and project specifications.
Requirements
- AM2S qualification.
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home is essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A professional attitude and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Previous telecommunications experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
