Trade Recruit is currently recruiting on behalf of All Solar Works for two experienced Roofers to join their expanding solar installation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-growing business within the renewable energy sector, supporting the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems. Working alongside qualified electricians, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a four-person installation team consisting of two roofers and two electricians
- Prepare roof structures for solar PV installations
- Install solar mounting systems including rails, roof hooks, flashing kits and associated components
- Fit solar PV panels on a range of roof types, including pitched and tiled roofs
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain excellent communication and teamwork throughout each installation project
- Identify and resolve roofing-related issues that could impact installation progress
- Follow all health and safety procedures and working-at-height regulations
- Deliver high standards of workmanship while meeting project deadlines
Requirements
Essential
- Proven roofing experience (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of roof structures and roofing techniques
- Experience working safely at height
- Own tools and appropriate PPE
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented approach
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable
- Previous solar PV installation experience
- Experience working on residential and commercial roofing projects
- Knowledge of renewable energy installations
