Job Title: Multi Trade Operative (Plumbing and Carpentry)
Salary: Up to £34,500 per annum + company van, fuel card and power tools
Location: Covering Chippenham and surrounding area
Contract: 39 hours - Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday - 8am to 430pm
Friday - 8am to 3.30pm
About the role - Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative
We are recruiting for a Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative to join the Trades team on a permanent basis.
- Responsible for ensuring properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard.
- Carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically, in line with current working practices and all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner, delivering excellent customer service and meeting performance and behavioural expectations.
About you
- Be able to demonstate a solid knowledge and experience in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade Repair and Refurbishment (social housing experience would be an advantage).
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves travelling to multiple locations. A company vehicle will be provided.
- You will need experience in a range of domestic maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and roofing (Cap and Cove experience would be an advantage).
- You must be able to use tools and equipment safely and correctly, plan and manage your own workload, meet deadlines, and use hand-held electronic devices effectively.
