Étage is a premium movement, wellness and events venue in the heart of Shoreditch. Our beautifully designed spaces host everything from corporate events and brand activations to wellness experiences, photoshoots, workshops and private celebrations.
We're looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our venue hire and corporate partnerships by introducing Étage to businesses across London.
The Role
As our Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with companies and agencies, and converting leads into venue hire bookings and long-term partnerships.
This is a proactive sales role where you'll spend your time identifying potential clients, reaching out to new businesses, arranging venue tours and helping to grow Étage's presence across London's corporate and events sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn and referrals.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, PR agencies, wellness brands and other businesses.
- Arrange and host venue tours for prospective clients.
- Promote Étage for venue hire, corporate wellness programmes, brand activations and private events.
- Prepare proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
- Follow up enquiries and negotiate bookings.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and CRM.
- Represent Étage at networking events and industry exhibitions.
- Work towards agreed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure an excellent client experience.
About You
You'll ideally have experience in sales, business development, hospitality, events or account management, and enjoy building relationships with new people.
You'll be:
- Confident and professional when speaking with prospective clients.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Commercially minded and target driven.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and emails.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Previous B2B sales experience is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate confidence, initiative and a strong desire to succeed.
