SEEKING DRIVER TO WORK OUT OUR RAINHAM DEPOT

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a dedicated individual who can operate a truck with professionalism and care, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.
With several locations throughout the UK and plans of expanding, we are a highly successful and sought after business and have no intention of slowing down.
This would be involving loading and delivery of bulk liquids; hazardous and non-hazardous.

Currently, we are seeking to recruit additional drivers to work out of Rainham during the day. This position, is NOT a tramping role.
Duties
- Operate trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with planners and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- A current HGV Class 1 License
- A valid ADR in tanks
- Driver CPC and Digital Tacho
- Proven experience as a delivery driver in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Shifts are Monday to Friday, with some weekend work possible. Early starts are necessary.
