Kitchen Installation Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised Project Manager to oversee our kitchen installation projects from order through to final completion.
We supply high-quality British and German kitchens and pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional level of service, workmanship and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of each project and ensure our customers receive the same high standard of service throughout the installation process.
The Role
As our Kitchen Installation Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing kitchen installations from the point of order through to successful completion.
You will act as the main link between our designers, customers, suppliers, kitchen fitters and other trades, ensuring every project is properly planned, organised and delivered on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing kitchen installation projects from order to completion
- Producing and managing installation schedules
- Coordinating kitchen fitters and other trades including electricians, plumbers, plasterers and decorators
- Liaising with customers before, during and after installation
- Carrying out site visits and monitoring the progress and quality of installations
- Checking plans, measurements and installation requirements prior to work commencing with our Designer
- Ensuring products and materials are available when required
- Coordinating deliveries and resolving shortages, damages or replacement items
- Communicating with suppliers and manufacturers
- Identifying potential problems before they affect the installation programme
- Dealing quickly and professionally with any issues that arise on site
- Monitoring installation costs and keeping projects within agreed budgets
- Maintaining accurate project paperwork and records
- Managing snagging lists and ensuring outstanding work is completed promptly
- Carrying out final checks and ensuring projects are completed to the standard expected by both the company and our customers
About You
We are looking for someone who is extremely organised, proactive and confident managing several projects at the same time.
You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, fitters, tradespeople, designers and suppliers.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in kitchen installations, construction, interiors or a similar project management role
- A good understanding of kitchen installation and associated trades
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to read and understand kitchen plans and technical drawings
- Confidence dealing with customers and contractors
- The ability to solve problems calmly and efficiently
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs
- A full UK driving licence
Experience within the KBB industry would be a significant advantage.
