Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about instructing and committed to helping young people achieve their educational goals. We are looking for instructors in Cooking, Arts and Crafts, PE, Wood Work, Design Technology, Animal Care, Forest Skills, Biking, Climbing or Horticulture. If you can lead a practical subject we can use your skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Deliver instructional content in a clear and effective manner, ensuring comprehension among all students.
- Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies to continuously improve teaching strategies.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
- Previous teaching experience or relevant qualifications in education is advantageous but not essential.
