Practice Nurse Vacancy
We want to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced practice nurse to join our team for around 20 hours/week. We want you to be used to managing long-term conditions in primary care with a particular interest in respiratory medicine. You will have gained your independent prescriber qualification or be keen to do so with the practice’s full support.
You will be expected to undertake the full range of duties typically associated with the role of a General Practice Nurse, alongside any additional responsibilities agreed with the clinical team, subject to appropriate training and in accordance with current professional standards and regulations.
The practice supports ongoing professional development for its team, enabling staff to maintain and enhance their clinical skills and expertise throughout their careers with us, and we would support your ongoing training where appropriate.
You must be fully qualified Registered Nurses with a current and valid NMC registration and previous experience working within General Practice. You will also be required to drive between our two sites and to housebound patients as part of the seasonal vaccination programmes.
We offer a competitive salary, dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.
