FinTech Global is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive specialising in FinTech media and event sponsorship sales. We are a leading provider of Financial Technology information services, B2B media products and industry events.
THE ROLE
- You'll work directly with and shadow our Head of Business Development from day one. That means sitting in on real pitches and real negotiations with Managing Directors, CROs and CCOs at some of the world's leading tech companies and being walked through how those conversations are actually won, not taught it in a training manual.
- You will work with our marketing analysts to identify and map target companies, call senior contacts, build relationships and sell our core products.
- Once you start developing within the role you will build and manage an active pipeline and portfolio of clients to ensure that revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
- As soon as you are capable you will be able to attend client meetings and present to prestigious clients in a structured, knowledgeable way.
- As soon as you are willing and able, we want to place you in a management position as quickly as possible.
- What you'll be selling: sponsorship and delegate places across our Global Summit series running in Singapore, London and New York. These events cover AI, InsurTech, RegTech and WealthTech. You'll be picking up the phone to leading technology vendors who want access to our audience.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The following experience and attributes are key:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within media, sponsorships or the FinTech sector.
- A self-starter ble to create your own opportunities in addition to the ones we present to you. Self-motivation is a key component of this role.
- Emotional maturity to show persistence in the face of rejection and objections.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to solve problems on the fly.
- Relentless attention to detail.
- Commercial business acumen.
- Prioritisation is key as we will afford you a wide range of opportunities
- An ability to grasp a range of dynamic industries spanning FinTech, financial crime, insurance, wealth management, regulation etc. is important

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
· £28k basic
· £15K+ OTE and uncapped commission
· 25 days vacation plus 8 national holidays each year.
