Gray Manor Hotel is a unique 26 bedroom hotel and wedding venue in Cholderton in between Salisbury and Andover.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team as housekeeper and general cleaner. Part time and full time hours available. Must be able to work alternate weekends. School hours available (9.30-2.30).
There are opportunities to develop front of house skills and if the candidate is interested on occasion they can help out with the breakfast shifts, which involves clearing down plates, keeping an eye on the hot buffet, letting the chef know when to top up food, and working with customers on a front facing role. There are further opportunities to train for events and other areas in the hotel if this is also of interest, however none of the above are compulsory.
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude with high standards who takes pride in their work. The hotel is set across 2 floors, so a general level of fitness will be required. Must be able to be flexible and work midweek and weekends and be able to work under pressure.
Previous cleaning/ housekeeping experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
