Job Summary
We are seeking 2 dynamic and energetic Events Officers/Town Hall Services Officers to coordinate and manage a variety of community and organisational events, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. This role involves engaging with diverse stakeholders, overseeing event logistics, and delivering exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences that foster community spirit and organisational success. Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including town hall meetings, community gatherings, fundraising activities, and special functions.
- Manage event logistics such as venue setup, equipment arrangements, catering coordination, and attendee registration.
- Provide outstanding guest services by welcoming attendees, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the event.
- Oversee time management during events to ensure schedules are adhered to and activities run smoothly.
- Maintain organized records of event details, attendee lists, budgets, and post-event evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of events are executed flawlessly.
- Help maintain the standards of appearance and cleanliness of the building complex
- Oversee and support bar and customer services during events
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel management, or event coordination roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Knowledge of guest services standards within hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Practical skills and knowledge of bar work are desirable
