Overview
We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential.
Shifts required will be Wednesday and Thursday night and every other Friday and Saturday night.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of each shift
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including hygiene practices and responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a personable demeanour
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
